A Three Generation Family Business

Main St Arts and Antiques is proudly run by a third-generation antique dealer with deep roots in Gloucester. Our family has been in the antique business selling treasures and antiques for 85 years. David B. Cox (pictured) ran the store for 35 years and can still be found there on Mondays. He has also taken over 65,000 photos of Gloucester and its inhabitants. Learn more about him and purchase some of his work on the David B. Cox's page.

Kimberly Cox now leads the store as David is semi-retired. Kim also has two Gloucester-based catering businesses: Feast Creative Catering & Mutha Shucka Raw Bar Catering. Visit her sites now!

The shop owner David Cox, also the town's roving photo-journalist, is friendly and always looking for fresh merch to offer his clients.
Upon several visits here, I've found that David is the quintessential "go-to" guy for the antiques trade in Gloucester. As a picker with many years in the business, I really appreciate David's operation.

Main Street Arts and Antiques, located in the former pool hall, has been in downtown Gloucester for 22 years. The owner, David Cox, was recently featured on the blog Good Morning Gloucester
The shop specializes in ephemera and smalls, and is manna for a photography and handwritten diaries collector like myself.
